Server Monitoring
FAQs.

What is the resource overhead of the agent?

Our agent is written in Go and compiled to native machine code. It typically uses less than 1% CPU and under 20MB of RAM, making it safe for even the smallest VPS instances.

Which operating systems are supported?

We support all major Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, RHEL, Fedora) and Windows Server 2016+. Docker containers are automatically discovered on any supported host.

Is the monitoring data encrypted?

Yes. All data sent from the agent to our dashboard is encrypted via TLS 1.3. We only collect system metrics and never access your application data or files.

Do I need to open any ports on my firewall?

No. The agent initiates an outbound connection to our ingestion servers. You do not need to open any inbound ports on your server.
